Cider Creek Collective, a community of ceramicists situated in Albion, California, convenes annually to ignite their handcrafted kilns. This particular firing is an anagama kiln firing. The collective ceramic pieces are loaded into the anagama kiln, and members collaborate to maintain the fire for ten consecutive days. Notably, all music featured in this film was recorded at Cider Creek using hand-built ceramic instruments. These instruments were crafted and performed by members of the CCC community. click here to watch.

Welcome to Stone Camp. Ted and Kathy Carns have been living off grid for over 50 years together. This is a short version of a full documentary i shot while i was there learning how to live fully off grid. Solar and wind energy, methane gas to run the pilot light in the refrigerator, zero waste systems, composting toilet, growing all their own food, heat their house with wood they harvest on the land and even a wood smoke fueled tractor. click here to watch.
